MEET ROSS

“Who the hell is Ross Nova?”

I’m Ross Nova - a Christian Republican, a Badass Bulgarian, and a proud American patriot.

I was born in Bulgaria and left in an orphanage at birth. Life there was tough, and from an early age I learned how to stand on my own two feet.

When I was eight years old, I was adopted and brought to the United States, landing in the middle of North Dakota in the dead of winter. That’s where my American story truly began.

At 18, not knowing how I would pay for college or what direction my life would take, I raised my right hand and joined the United States Army. I later served in an elite Pathfinder unit and deployed overseas, where I learned and lived the Army values every day, loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, integrity, and personal courage. Those values shaped the man I became, teaching me discipline, responsibility, and the pride that comes from serving something greater than yourself and helping others whenever you can.

After my service, I became a United States citizen, took the oath of allegiance to the Constitution, and proudly pledged my loyalty to the country that gave me a second chance at life, a moment for which I will remain truly blessed and forever grateful until my very last breath.

Since then, I’ve lived the same life many Minnesotans live. I’ve worked in restaurants, helped open businesses, and driven trucks across Minnesota, meeting hardworking people in towns and communities across this great state. What I’ve learned is simple: the people of Minnesota have far more in common than the politicians want us to believe.

Most people want the same things - safe communities, honest government, the opportunity to work, and a better future for their families.

But somewhere along the way, politics stopped building bridges and started building walls between people. I’m running for Governor because I believe Minnesota deserves leadership that builds bridges instead of divisions.

Not red versus blue, not group versus group. Minnesotans.

I want to be a bridge builder between parties, bringing people together and reminding us that we are stronger when we stand side by side instead of on opposite sides. Let us become the engineers together, building a strong and lasting bridge between our communities, our ideas, and our future.

My proposed bills reflect the kind of Governor I intend to be: focused on restoring trust, order, and accountability in Minnesota government while staying grounded in the concerns of everyday working people. Across my legislation, the same priorities show up again and again: transparent government, safer communities, stronger parental rights, lower tax burdens, and a culture that respects work, family, and personal responsibility.

Bills like the Minnesota Tax Tracker, the Bill Tracker, and my broader transparency and anti-fraud proposals show that I believe Minnesotans deserve to know exactly how their government is operating and how their money is being spent. My public safety proposals reflect a law-and-order approach centered on safer schools, protections for businesses, support for law enforcement, and stronger standards for public accountability and civic order.

On education and family issues, my legislation supports parental involvement, local control, and clearer boundaries around what schools should and should not be doing. On the economic side, my proposals on taxes, tabs, workforce development, trade licensing, agriculture, and small business relief are meant to make Minnesota more affordable, more stable, and more workable for families, workers, farmers, and entrepreneurs.

There is also a consistent thread of citizen oversight running through my policy agenda. I do not believe government should be something people are expected to trust blindly. I believe Minnesotans should have tools to watch what lawmakers are doing, track spending, and measure whether public promises are actually being kept. That is why so many of my bills are designed to make government easier to see, easier to question, and harder to abuse.

Taken together, my bills represent a conservative reform agenda built on cultural clarity, institutional transparency, and economic practicality. I want to help rebuild Minnesota around responsibility, unity, and public trust. The message behind my legislation is simple: government should be easier to understand, harder to corrupt, and more responsive to the people it is supposed to serve.

VISION &
PRIORITIES

My vision for Minnesota is simple: bring real change that unifies people instead of dividing them. For too long, politics has pushed Minnesotans into separate corners, Democrat versus Republican and group versus group. Minnesota belongs to its people, not to government insiders or decisions made behind closed doors.

Rebuilding trust in government starts with transparency and accountability. That is why I propose creating MN Tax Tracker, a simple public platform where citizens can see how taxpayer money is being spent across state government. The system would also include a Real-Time Bill Tracker that allows Minnesotans to follow legislation as it moves through the legislature and see exactly what changes are made and when.

Beyond transparency and government reform, my priorities include strengthening public safety, improving education, and supporting Minnesota’s farmers, workers, and small businesses. I want to be a bridge builder between parties, bringing Democrats and Republicans together to focus on what truly matters, the future of Minnesota. Because when Minnesotans stand together, our best days are still ahead of us.
